When I first learned that I had cancer it was almost not real. I couldn't really believe that it was happening to me...5 years, 3 surgeries and chemo therapy later...I feel it's time to share my story, my journey, for all of us out there who are going through it, who need to know we are not alone and we have support! And for those that are supporting us and witnessing us and helping us and treating us. This is for anyone affected by cancer in one way or another.

WHO?
My story in short:
Katja from Germany, living in Miami, FL since 1994. MBA, Realtor, LMT and currently in School for Physical Therapy to work with cancer patients in the future. June 2012 Diagnosis of Cervical Cancer. October 1, 2012 Radical Hysterectomy. Declared Cancer Free. May 2015 Emergency Room in Germany. "Monstrous Mass" on left ovary removed and deemed "Borderline Tumour" weighing 7lbs. Declared Cancer Free. January 2017 Emergency Room in Miami. Grapefruit size mass removed with remaining right ovary. Deemed cancerous and subsequently linked to original Cervical Cancer - a rare metastases - questioning diagnosis of monstrous borderline tumour. Prescription of of 6 rounds of Chemotherapy to outrule any future recurrences. I agreed to the recommended treatment...
